Designer bargain alert: An Ellery outlet is opening in Sydney!

Australian designer label Ellery has announced it will open its first outlet store in Rosebery this year.

The brand’s very first outlet store will sell stock from past collections, discounted up to 80 per cent.

Set to open on March 2, the Ellery outlet will offer an extra 20 per cent off its stock for two days, until March 4.

This will be the third high fashion womenswear outlet in Rosebery, which is also home to Zimmermann and Camilla and Marc.

After launching in Sydney in 2007, designer Kym Ellery has since gone global with her brand, evidenced by its first runway show at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week earlier this year.

The label is popular among Aussie celebs, including Jennifer Hawkins and Lara Bingle. It has since achieved international fame thanks to stars like Madonna and Nicole Richie.

The designer brand will release two new collections this year, to be produced at its base in Paris.

The Ellery website describes the brand as “bold, anchored in an intelligent” with “architectural silhouettes and artistic inspirations”.

The Ellery archive outlet will be located at 33 Dunning Avenue, Rosebery.
