So, if you’re planning your next visit to a Hussh Warehouse Sale, here’s our guide to spending a very good day in Kensington.
First stop: Rumble Coffee Roasters.
A Kensington local, Rumble roasts its coffee right here in the neighbourhood and has built a loyal following for excellent specialty coffee and its commitment to transparent, sustainable sourcing.
Its Macaulay Road Espresso Bar serves Rumble’s signature blends alongside rotating single origins, filter coffee and a few more unexpected drinks.
Grab a flat white, try something new or take home a bag of beans for later.
Coffee sorted. Now for the main event.
Every visit to Hussh is different.
Our Kensington warehouse plays host to a constantly changing calendar of premium sale events, bringing together excess stock, samples, previous-season collections and one-off finds from leading Australian and international brands.
One week it might be premium denim and fashion. The next, designer shoes, homewares, bedding, menswear or kids.
And because these are genuine, limited-time warehouse events, once one sale finishes, something completely different rolls through the doors.
That’s half the fun.

Once you’ve worked your way through the racks, you barely need to move for lunch.
Directly across the road from Hussh you’ll find Double Dutch Bakery, a neighbourhood bakery created in partnership with the team behind Rumble Coffee.
Everything is baked fresh each morning, with excellent pastries, bread, sandwiches and Rumble coffee on the menu.
If the Broc Broc is on when you visit, it’s one of our picks — roast chicken, broccoli, green goddess sauce, cos and pickled red onion packed into fresh bread.
Otherwise, follow your eyes. The pastry cabinet generally makes the decision fairly easy.
If your Kensington day happens to fall later in the week, keep it going at Arnold’s.
Run by Kensington locals Scott Eddington and Lauren Chibert, Arnold’s is the kind of neighbourhood wine bar you wish was at the end of your street.
The heritage building has a dining room, courtyard and a handful of tables out front, with good wine, a changing food menu and an atmosphere that feels relaxed rather than overly polished.
It’s an easy place to settle in for a glass and accidentally stay for another.
Arnold’s currently opens from 5pm Tuesday to Friday and from 1pm Saturday, although it recommends checking its latest hours before visiting.

And finally, dinner.
Just around the corner from Hussh is Kensington institution La Tortilleria.
La Tortilleria is all about authentic Mexican flavours, with fresh corn tortillas at the heart of the menu. Expect tacos, tostadas, quesadillas and plenty to share, alongside tequila, mezcal, cerveza and cocktails.
It’s colourful, casual and always has plenty of energy — exactly the sort of place you want to end a day out.
And at only 72 Stubbs Street, it’s almost ridiculously close to Hussh.
