Australia’s No. 1 destination for genuine discount warehouse sales

More fash for less cash! Get the look for less – Meghan Markle

Fallen in love with Meghan’s signature look but don’t have the Royal budget? Here’s some ideas on how to create discount duchess style that will suit all budget queens.

Trend: The white shirt

Royal fever has arrived in Australia with Meghan and Harry in Sydney for the Invictus Games, and the surprise announcement of their pregnancy!

The event is special to the couple as it’s where the pair first appeared together in public last year. Meghan was snapped wearing a crisp white shirt and jeans.

Copy her smart casual look with a simple long-sleeve white shirt, kept open at the neck. Showpo and The Iconic have some great options. Or why not grab one of the men’s business shirts from our next menswear sale?

If you’re handy with a needle and thread, you can sew it to your fit, or pay a few extra dollars to a local tailor to do it for you. Complete the outfit with a pair of skinny jeans, comfy flats and dark shades for a classic look that will never go out of style.

Trend: Exposed shoulders

Who can forget that show-stopping, shoulder-flashing Givenchy wedding dress? Meghan is a fan of showing a hint of skin and off-the shoulder tops are great because they can suit almost every body shape.

Boat neck tops or princess cut tops, which skim the shoulders, offer more coverage while still giving the off-the-shoulder effect.

Trend: Block colour

Meghan often sticks to a neutral colour palette, but when she goes for colour, she goes all-out! She made headlines in this bold yellow number which sold out almost instantly.

Meghan kept her colourful look polished and understated with sweptback hair and nude heels. Hiring a showstopper dress for a special occasion is a great way to get a one-off look for less.

It’s also worth taking a look in the sale section at hire shops too – ex rental frocks are often on offer at huge discounts.

Trend: Rule breaking!

The Duchess of Sussex has caused a few raised eyebrows in Royal circles because she likes to stay on-trend with her clothes, which can break a few regal rules.

She recently wore a smart tuxedo dress to an evening event which skimmed her knees and her off-the-shoulder choices have also been controversial in the traditional set. Check out this royally good Showpo copycat of Meghan’s twist on the iconic trench coat matched with a classic nude clutch.

Trend: Navy

Navy is the new black! Meghan loves the colour as much as she loves to break the rules and recently broke the Internet by pairing a navy blouse with black trousers – shock!

The night before her wedding, Meghan looked elegant in a navy dress with grey heels. The shade is flattering on almost all skin tones and it’s a softer option than black.

Trend: A statement bag

No royal occasion worthy outfit is complete without a signature clutch or small leather bag to tie the look together. Go for classic colours, such as black or tan, with a feature handle and the option of a cross-body strap.

These Forever New numbers are pretty spot on copies of Meghan’s arm candy.

Finishing touches – nailed it!

To complete any Meghan inspired outfit, keep your beauty look all-natural. This clean and classic nail colour is the rumoured to be the exact shade Ms Markle wore when she tied the knot.
