A Guide to Outlet Shopping in Rosebery
Try outlet shopping in Rosebery to find some of Sydney’s most stylish warehouse bargains!
Rosebery, a suburb in Sydney’s inner west, continues to expand as a dining and shopping destination.
Close to other outlet and warehouse hubs, like Alexandria and Mascot, Rosebery is carving out an identity as a more upmarket shopping district thanks to high fashion outlets and homewares stores.
If you’re driving to Rosebery (admittedly, it is in the middle of nowhere, so this is advised) you may struggle to find street parking. The area morphs quickly from industrial to suburban, so the mix of residents and workers means parking is scarce.
You can park in The Cannery for free for two hours (it’s paid after that), or drive one or two blocks back for a better chance of unlimited street parking.
Here’s the outlets to check out when you’re there!
Zimmermann
The Zimmermann outlet has lived in Rosebery for years, although moved to flashy new premises in 2015. It’s sure to be the first stop for the day for most shoppers, after getting their caffeine fix at Black Star Pastry nearby.
The outlet offers a selection of new season stock alongside its stellar swimwear range on the ground floor. Heading upstairs you’ll find clothing discounted around 40 to 70 per cent off. The Zimmermann outlet even sells a small range of shoes and accessories. This is the part of Rosebery to head to when you need a new ‘special occasion’ dress.

Springcourt
Self-defined as the “quintessential French sneaker”, Springcourt adds the style and flair to comfy, casual footwear.
The cotton or leather tennis shoes are very on-trend at the moment, making the Springcourt outlet a hot destination for bargain hunters.
Springcourt offers discounts of 50 per cent off or more on past season stock. This brings their shoes (typically priced between $125 and $245) down to around $60-$120.
Beware: the outlet store is not open on weekends! Instead, it operates during normal business hours (9am-5pm) Monday to Friday.

Sandler and more
The Sandler shoe outlet also stocks sister brands Jane Debster, Easy Steps and Skechers, among others.
Samples go for as little as $20 a pair, which is perfect for the ultimate outlet shopper. Stock that remains in mainstream stores is also available and discounted, selling with around 30 per cent off. Leather ankle boots are going for under $100, while heels and flats can go from anywhere between $20 and $150.
Before you drop by, check that they are open by calling (02) 9669 2589.
BUT for the best deals at the Sandler, hang out for a Hussh sale at this outlet when you’ll find rock bottom prices for a one or two day Hussh sale event!

Camilla and Marc
Similar to its neighbour, Zimmermann, the Camilla and Marc outlet looks as chic as its boutiques. Let’s just say you won’t be rummaging through boxes to find your bargains. Instead, they’re all neatly displayed on racks in a truly enticing style.
The outlet offers everything from basics and casual wear to sleek cocktail dresses, with previous season’s styles selling for up to 70 per cent off.

Sambag
The non-descript-looking Sambag outlet is located inside The Cannery, sandwiched between Welcome Dose Specialty Coffee and Banh Xeo Bar. Shoes, including a selection of summery sandals, flats, wedges and heels, are on offer for as little as $10. There is also a limited range of past season clothing and accessories slashed to clear.

Dunning Avenue Outlet
Dunning Avenue Outlet is your traditional looking outlet store with a mixed bag of brands, mostly hailing from America. To be more specific, if you’re after jeans or other denim items – this is your store!
With brands like Paige Denim and AG Adriano Goldschmied, a range of brands and styles are available for $20. (Seriously, the day I went by, everything was $20!) It also stocks NYDJ – a brand designed by women for women, which means the range offers well-fitting curvy and petite sizes, as well as your regular styles of jeans.
This Rosebery outlet also stocks some Johnny Was, a bohemian clothing brand comprised of flowing dresses and peasant tops.
